On the Bicentennial National Trail & Great Bunya Drive
On the range is ‘The Chimney’ a restored part of the Mount Clara Mine copper smelter with plenty of 4WDing closeby. A short drive takes you to Mudlo Gap National Park, Kinbombi Falls and Wonga Drive In Theatre (3 screens, open weekends). Take a trip to the historic Theebine Hotel, a true Australian country pub or ride ’The Rattler’ from Gympie. In Goomeri, taste cheeses at Cheeseworld and browse ‘The Emporium’ a real country store for clothing and stock accessories. Don't forget the Annual Goomeri Pumpkin Festival at the end of May.

Pets and Horses welcome
On the day of the annual Kilkivan Great Horse Ride, a good percentage of the 1000 riders pass through the park. It’s a truly great day in wonderful horse country.

Kilkivan has a lot to offer
Try a coffee and cake at the Left Bank Café, a counter meal at the pub or takeaway from the newsagent ! The butcher is excellent, there’s a good fuel/tyre stop, RACQ and Post Office. Spend a few hours exploring the 2 antique shops, 2nd hand collectibles and our fantastic Museum. Alternatively play a round of golf, bowl a few bowls or cool off in our local swimming pool. Whatever you choose, a warm welcome awaits you!
